How to Oil the Airways of your Tippmann

  1. REMOVE YOUR BARREL!  This is important, you don't want to get oil into your barrel, especially if you have a Flatline!  Oil in the barrel can cause breaks and WILL cause inconsistency and inaccuracy.
  2. Put only a few drops of oil into the bottomline setup.
  3. Screw in your CO2 tank.
  4. Make some noise!  You want to fire enough CO2 through the thing to blow the oil through all the valves.
  5. After Firing about 50 shots or so, you should have the oil through the valves.
  6. Clean the bolt area to remove any excess oil
  7. Reinstall the barrel.

That's all there is to it.  It has been mentioned in the Tippmann forum about putting pneumatic oil through the marker, but Tippmann Techs recommend using only a drop or two of Hoppe's #9.  They said the pneumatic oil may cause the seals to degrade faster.
